Who we are

Flyborne ("we") operates flyborne.com and the Flyborne Simulator: a performance-record platform for FPV drone pilots. Contact: contact@flyborne.com.

What we collect

Account data — email address and password (stored as a hash by our authentication provider). Profile data — whatever you choose to publish: handle, callsign, name, country, location, bio, gear, certifications, work availability, photos and videos you upload. Simulator telemetry — training attempts recorded by the Flyborne Simulator (missions, times, medals, crashes), linked to your account through your activation key. Academy records — live training hours, courses and qualifications logged by instructors at partner academies. Steam data — if you link your Steam account, we store your SteamID64, persona name, and playtime/achievements for FPV simulator games, retrieved with your consent via the Steam Web API. Flyborne is not affiliated with Valve; you can unlink Steam at any time, which deletes this data.

What we do with it

We use your data to operate your pilot record: public profiles show what you choose to make public (profiles can be hidden in your dashboard), academies you join can see your training telemetry to instruct you, and Flyborne staff review records you submit for verification. We send transactional emails about your account and record (e.g. an instructor logged hours on you). We do not sell your data or run third-party advertising.

Where it lives

Data is hosted with Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) and served through Cloudflare. Simulator activation keys are sold through our commerce partner Ghostwing; payment processing is handled by Stripe under their own privacy terms — Flyborne does not store card details.

Cookies

We use only functional cookies: your sign-in session. No tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export or delete your data. Most of it is directly editable from your dashboard; for deletion or export requests, email contact@flyborne.com and we will act within 30 days. You can hide your public profile at any time with the visibility toggle.
